Colonial Heights Food Pantry is established to serve individuals and families who need assistance to supplement their SNAP (food stamps) benefits and whose household income is at or below 200% of federal poverty level. If you do not fall within our guidelines, we will refer you to one of our local partner resources for budgeting assistance.
Colonial Heights Food Pantry serves the homeless, the unemployed and the underemployed; the terminal and chronically ill; seniors who struggle with living on a fixed income; the mentally compromised; single parent families and families of the incarcerated, in addition to others in need. Based on varied circumstances, some clients qualify for long-term service and others for temporary service. Our goal is to support individuals and families through difficult financial situations and assist them in becoming self-reliant; also we assist those living on disability and individuals struggling to live on a fixed income.
Our Service Area
Colonial Heights Food Pantry serves residents of Colonial Heights (23834), and limited areas zoned in South Chesterfield of zip codes 23834 and 23803 only (such as Ettrick & Matoaca).
If you do not live in our service area, please contact Central Virginia Food Bank at 804-521-2500 for assistance in locating a pantry that has been established to serve your area.

Instructions for acquiring service from CHFP
-Park behind Colonial Heights Food Pantry in marked CHFP parking or in lot behind Kool Smiles building;
-Arrive no more than 15 minutes before distribution time as not to interfere with deliveries to CHFP and our neighbors’ ability to conduct business;
-Remain in your vehicle until Pantry management opens door for business, then clients may form a line at base of steps;
Proof of residency for our coverage area (see Our Service Area above)
*One of the following documents is required as proof of residency and must be current 60 days or less:

Please print, read, sign and bring the attached Client Policy and Service Agreement with you to distribution. Compliance is required in order to receive service from Colonial Heights Food Pantry, Inc.
