Provide food.  Provide hope.

We are so blessed by the people who choose to support the pantry and our community by spending their time serving others.  We are able to do this work because of these individual's dedication to helping others when our community is in need.  There is always a great need for additional volunteers.  Won’t you please consider serving your community by volunteering to help our pantry today?

We need your help today.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are a number of ways you can choose to support us through these volunteer opportunities for individuals.

Food Distribution:  Distribution volunteers help hand out food in the different sections of the distribution line, restock shelves and tables with food, help push client carts to their cars and assist with pantry clean-up. Help is needed Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and/or Friday 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Delivery Drivers:  Using their own vehicle or the pantry’s refrigerated delivery truck (as approved), drivers pick up store donations following a monthly schedule set by the Volunteer Coordinator.  They may be asked to fill in for other drivers as needed. Help is needed Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; the specific schedule varies depending on the day of the week.

Food Processor:  Processor volunteers help with the daily deliveries of food brought in by our volunteer delivery drivers and the community.  Food processors unload deliveries, weight the items and sort food to prepare and store them for our weekly food distributions. Help is needed Monday – Friday 9:30 a.m. – Noon.

Clerical or Reception Support:  The pantry can also use volunteers with clerical office responsibilities, and can be flexible to volunteers' availability during regular weekday hours. Reception help is secured for AM and PM weekday shifts.

If you would like to become a Pantry volunteer, please print and complete this volunteer form and bring it to our office Monday - Wednesday between 9-4pm.
