In keeping with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), The World Health Organization (WHO), and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), the Colonial Heights Food Pantry has implemented safety precautions that has resulted in changes to our distributions. 

In our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of our volunteers and our clients, the Colonial Heights Food Pantry has implemented some changes to our distribution.  All volunteers will be masked at all time when in the pantry and when providing distribution services.  Our client choice model of allowing clients inside is temporarily suspended until we can safely resume distribution inside our building.  The pantry is attempting to offer some selected choices each week. Pre-bagged food will be served in a “park and wait” method from our rear parking lot to registered clients during our regular distribution hours of Thursday 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and Friday, 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. Pantry volunteers will do their best to accommodate client preferences as much as possible.
